Dear Human, I am an ordinary person with an extraordinary love for the ocean and a passion for travel adventure. I spent over two decades chasing the American Dream. Raising a family, climbing the corporate ladder and doing all the things men are supposed to do. I earned multiple college degrees and worked my way up to Regional Vice President in one of the largest and most respected dialysis companies in the world. Despite my best efforts, I found myself trapped in a job that was sucking the life out of me. Constantly demanding more than I could give while offering very little in return. I was a cog in a wheel, held tight by golden handcuffs, and I needed to let it go... Almost overnight, I found myself alone, empty-nested and unemployed. I sold everything I owned, moved into a van and vowed never to return to corporate life. A decision I have never regretted, one I should have made much earlier. I didn't work for a full year. I traveled extensively overseas and spent time pondering what I wanted my new life to look like. I eventually acquired a small service business back in the states. One that allows me to travel as often as I want. Truly a freedom I never knew existed. This new path has also brought me a sense of peace and contentment—far away from arbitrary budgets, office politics, and unnecessary stress. Since then, I have explored much of Europe, Asia, Australia, the Americas, and a variety of small countries and islands around the globe. Much of it on motorcycles and in boats, with some hitchhiking thrown in for good measure. While I initially didn't set out to create art, my travels have sparked a deep passion for black-and-white photography. What began as simply taking pictures for my own memories has grown into an extensive collection of work I am incredibly proud of. Each photo has a story. Each one captures a moment, a memory, and a part of my ongoing journey. Why black and white? Because it reminds me of the good old days, before the internet and social media and all of the technologies that were supposed to make life easier. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work. I hope it inspires you to reflect on your own journey and pursue what brings you happiness. With Love, -Tad
